One characteristic of the new building development that we have seen throughout the UK is that contemporary architecture particularly lends itself to having neutral tones and ‘textured’ walls created with paint. These specialist paint finishes break up vast areas of wall and ceiling, enhancing the space as a whole, complementing wood, metal, glass and stone.
Vanessa recently worked in a modern town house, which was three years old. The hall stairs and landing were colour washed in parchment, the dining room in pale gold. Some rooms were papered and others ragged, using Fired Earth's Perfect Neutrals.
